IF FLOWERS NEVER EXISTED.....

Flowers basically have been an integral part of our lives. It has the power to create any atmosphere for a joyous occasion (Weddings etc.) or even a sorrowful one (Funerals etc.). Flowers are one of the best gifts Mother Nature has gifted us all and like the saying by Ralph Waldo Emerson goes, “The Earth Laughs In Flowers”. If they cease to exist, there will be so much more implications than you can ever imagine.

Cities and gardens will be laid bare with shrubs, making places less appealing and attractive. In addition, flowers are usually the main focal point of spring, where people travel to places like Holland or Japan to feast their eyes on the beauty of Mother Nature. However, without flowers, there will be no meaning left to spring.

Weddings will no longer be as beautiful. Flowers have that ability to create a dramatic flair to any themed wedding. Also, next to the dress, the bride will not be complete without her bridal bouquet. Without flowers, wedding venues will become so ordinary, brides will not have anything to carry when they walk down the aisle. This will just be incomplete!

Flowers also play a vital role during special occasions such as Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, anniversaries etc. Yes, I'm sure there are a variety of gifts to receive or give on that special day but can you imagine not having any flowers to appreciate your loved ones/ or receiving them? Flowers are one of the sincerest and simplest way of showing your loved one that you appreciate and love them. And if they never existed, you would definitely have to work even harder in looking for a presentable and meaningful gift.

If flowers never existed, we too as floral artisans will not have the chance to make anyone’s day with the bouquets/arrangements we specially curate to communicate a meaningful message to each of our clients.

But thankfully, all these will be just a nightmare we can only dream of. Flowers will never cease to exist on this Earth and the world will never be a dull place.

Let’s continue to appreciate the beauty and significance of what flowers can/have done for us!
