Heartfelt words from our Floral Student : {Jessica Koon}

What started off on a whim, started my relationship with flowers.

And what a ride its been!

Firstly, I would like to thank Sarah for this journey of realisation and awareness of whats to be and what will come.

I was at a point of my life where I needed healing and I decided to take up a course that would interest me and perhaps also equip me with some skills.

I googled and searched for a style that resonated with what I’d hope to create and I found Poppy Studio,

I went for the 1st class and, as cliche as it may sound, the rest was history!

The lessons were calm and always happy filled with resourceful nibbles. Sarah is a soulful and generous teacher, she guides as much as she critics in the most comforting way!

I was able to overcome my fears of imperfections and fears of some flowers that I was not familiar with but Sarah would always encourage me to try.

With her guidance, I have overcome my insecurities,build confidence and gone off to start my own journey with flowers.

I know that I can always count on her for advice or lunch and thats the beautiful person she is.
